SO LUCIO! THE BIOGRAPHICAL BOOK DEDICATED TO LUCIO COSTA

The book shows personal and professional path of Lucio Costa, through  press pages, moments from fashion shows and photo-shoots of his stylistic proposals since 1987, the year of his international debut till 2012, the year of his death. Texts are taken care by Giusy Ferrè and Renata Molho, fashion editing by Alice Gentilucci of Italian Vogue, who will also arrange for this book a shooting signed by Federico Garibaldi.

Many journalistic contributors will be hosted, such as Matteo Ceschi, journalist  and  historian who will give an insight into the life in Milano in the 80's,

and fashion journalists as Gisella Borioli, founder and Director of Donna, Cinzia Brandi Fashion Editor of Amica who published over the years its leaders.

In addition to the contributions of other illustrators, the book will also host  the prestigious pages that Anna Piaggi dedicated to Costa.

The book will also include beautiful images of models like Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Monica Bellucci  shot by

Hellen Von Unverth, Albert Watson, Neil Kirk, Fabrizio Ferri, Giovanni Gastel. Among different filmmakers, we here like to mention Giuseppe Capotondi, Federico Brugia, Marco Schillaci, Samuele Franzini,  among different photographers Helen Putsman, Tosca Radigonda, Elliston Lutz, Zacary Zavislak, Marcel Gonzalez Ortiz, Luca Peyrot, Matteo Bertolio,  Stefano Peruzy, Federico Garibaldi.

The book, for the experts involved,  does not represent a profitable operation, because they decided to carry on their collaboration for free, in memory of Lucio Costa and his talent, which has always been recognized by many insiders of the Fashion System . As for me, the part accruing to myself of the sales will be entirely donated to the Association Onlus Peter Pan, in Rome,  which takes care of children with cancer.
