THE LUCIO COSTA BRAND

Launched in Milan in 1987, Lucio Costa became one of the distinctive voices of the Milanese fashion avant-garde of the late 1980s.

In 2016 the picture book “SO LUCIO”, dedicated to Costa, documented almost three decades of his clothing and accessories collections, worn by the most famous top models and celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Monica Bellucci.

Positioned in the High-End Luxury Fashion Research segment, the Lucio Costa Brand has, over the years, successfully conveyed a strong Brand perception, providing its customers with a distinctive and identifiable image.

Lucio Costa rtw and accessories collections have been distributed over the years through Italy’s luxury fashion stores, including Antonioli and Daad in Milan, Penelope in Brescia, Luisaviaroma in Florence, and Isetan in Tokyo.

Today, Roberto Pelizzoni, Creative Director and Costa’s historical partner, continues to develop with consistency the distinctive elements of Lucio Costa’s aesthetic, reaffirming the contemporary character of the brand.

Roberto Pelizzoni and Guido Costa, with over 25 years of professional career in Finance, established Planet B srls in Milan in January 2025 with the ambitious objective to relaunch Lucio Costa’s iconic brand.

“Be aware of the trends and move beyond” the brand’s mantra.

The initial stages of the operation were dedicated to identifying reliable suppliers and manufacturers to guarantee top quality materials and execution.

They were all selected on the outskirts of Milan so that quality control by management could be more rigorous.

In line with Lucio’s tradition, the utmost care has been given to create products with a strong, distinctive identity, capable to appeal to a niche of customers looking for premium quality at competitive prices.

The results have been tested with a selection of retail shops: today the company can boast its presence, among others, in the windows of one of the trendiest stores in Milan fashion district.

The time has come for international buyers to discover Lucio Costa emotional mark and long-term commercial potential in a market increasingly in search for reasonable price-to-quality ratios.
